SHOW NEWS REPORT

Unless someone volunteers to chair the CLUB RAFFLE the show will lose the money it generally

generates ( it usually averages about $600)

Members are needed to sort over the ROCK PILE into like containers and or flats for the show. This

can be done when ever you have time available, please find some time. To date very few members have

helped with this job. Many thanks to those members that have helped.

A work picnic is tentatively planned for Sat. July 22nd in the Laylin’s backyard. We will work on exit gifts, Petoskey stone polishing kits and other needed activities. Plus we will have a good time visiting with old and new friends and enjoy a great picnic lunch. Arrive any time after 9:00 a.m., lunch about 12 noon. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service, drinks will be provided.

A second work day in late August or mid September will be required to price material and to reload the trailer. Roger Laylin, Show Chairman

NOTE FROM MARY KAY BEAN

In the event of the passing of any of our members, would any club member or family member with information, please telephone Corresponding Secretary Kristen Wood, 517-769-6578 or Mary Kay Bean 517-351-1107 as to arrangements for visitation and funeral/memorial services as soon as possible so that we may begin phoning those club members who would be interested in paying their respects. Too many loved ones have made their transition and the message has not reach us in time.

In addition, please notify Kristen or me (Mary Kay) whenever a member is seriously ill so that cards may be sent or as we’ve done in years past, visits to hospitals, nursing homes and hospice can be made. This means more to families then we realize. Many thanks , Mary Kay Bean.
