The CMLMS Annual Show was held at the Mason Fairgrounds Arena on October 24, 25, and 26, 2008. About 1,000 children and 300 parents and teachers attended the Children’s Tour on Friday. The public show had paid attendance of over 1200 people. Show Chair, Roger Laylin, thanks all the members and volunteers who helped make the show a success!
Nominating Committee
The committee is STILL seeking volunteers for 2009 officers. Contact Kris Wood, President. Come on, folks! Take your turn as an officer. The same people can’t do this ALL the time!!!
Roster Secretary
Message from Roster Secretary Ernie Aughenbaugh: Dues are now being collected for 2009.
To all our Show Volunteers from the Committee Chairs -- Thank You!
Admissions – Elaine Beane thanks Sue Casler, Roni Sionakedes, Mary Gowans, and all the other folks who helped sell tickets to 1208 paying customers. We didn’t short-change anyone and made only a couple of mistakes. Pretty good for a well-attended show!
Raffle – Roger Laylin thanks Kris Wood and Marvin Martin. Marvin stood at the Raffle table all day Saturday and Sunday, spinning that beautiful globe donated by Ernie Aughenbaugh – and sold ALL the raffle tickets. That’s the first time that has happened in a LONG time. Now if I could only get Marv’s very successful sales pitch out of my head………
Food – Thanks to everyone who brought food, and especially to those who cooked and served it!
